train going through morants curve in banff national park in canadian rocky mountains in spring with snow capped mountains in the distance

Banff Express

Banff National Park, Canada

Morant's Curve is possibly my favourite location in Banff National Park. Watching trains taking the curve at speed while framed by the most beautiful snow-capped mountains in the Rockies. This image was captured in April 2017 and was my first ever sighting of a train here, I was stationed on a hill for more than an hour before this CP train came past. One of my all-time favourite photographs. Photo © copyright by Alexander Jones.

All of my images are printed on Epson 260 GSM Luster, this professional photo paper offers excellent colour and heavy weight. The lustre finish is the lowest gloss level available in a professional photo paper and it produces vivid, lifelike images.
