I had seen this location in Jasper on a scouting trip and wanted to photograph a train here again the backdrop of the mountain. I was in the town of Jasper when I saw a train heading East toward this location, I jumped into my car and tried to get ahead of the train. It was going to be so close that I was prepping my camera while driving.
When I pulled up at the location the train was only a couple of hundred meters away. I quickly ran to the grass verge and snapped five quick photographs. What you see here is the last photograph, I am thrilled at how well if turned out. Photo © copyright by Alexander Jones.
